Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation invites a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team in Stow, Ohio on a PRN basis. You will be paired with coverage needs to fit your schedule and may float to nearby Akron-area clinics within a 20–30 minute drive of Stow.

The role emphasizes patient care under a licensed PT, with opportunities to grow professionally within a nationwide network and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA with outpatient experience.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Passed the national PTA exam (CAPTE).
• Valid state PTA license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist as required by state practice acts.
• Deliver high-quality PT services with minimal supervision.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients and expand client relations.

Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient PRN

Location: 3903 Darrow Road Stow Ohio 44224

Schedule: PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri)

Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00/hour, pending experience

We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team. This role is perfect for a licensed PTA with outpatient experience who values work-life balance. We’ll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you.

This role includes the possibility of floating to nearby clinics in the Akron region, all within approximately a 20-30 minute drive of Stow.
