Job summary

Cascade Gardens is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work PRN under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. The PTA will provide direct patient care and document treatments, progress, and changes in condition.

You will implement treatment plans, educate patients, and help achieve high-quality outcomes. Requirements include an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy, PTA license in Florida, CPR and First Aid, and 3+ years' clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current PTA license in state of practice
• CPR and First Aid certification
• 3+ years of clinical experience

Responsibilities

• Administer treatment programs as established by Physical Therapists
• Focus on providing the highest quality treatment for patients that allows for excellent patient outcomes
• Assess patient condition using knowledge of basic biological and medical science
• Propose treatment goals and objectives
• Implement patient treatment plans with guidance from the Physical Therapist
• Perform certain aspects of patient evaluation and interventions
• Instruct patients on physical therapy interventions, modalities and home exercise programs

We are looking to hire a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work PRN at Cascade Gardens!

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will provide direct patient care services under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for documenting patient treatments, changes in condition and other pertinent information as required. The successful candidate will also provide treatment and appropriate therapeutic techniques specific to the age and condition of each patient.
