KORT Physical Therapy in Corydon, IN is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant for an outpatient center. This diverse orthopedic practice serves pediatric to geriatric patients and emphasizes evidence-based treatments.

Hours are Monday–Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The starting hourly rate is $23.50, with continuing education opportunities, mentorship, and career development programs. Benefits include 401K matching and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Valid state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (CAPTE) required.
• State license/certification must be valid in the practicing state.
• CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

Hours: Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00a.m. and 6:00p.m.

Hourly rate: Starting at $23.50 per hour and up commensurate with experience.

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Possesses training and education which allows him/her to assist the Physical Therapist in carrying out prescribed treatment program.
• Implements, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
• Develops treatment plans, supervises assistants and aides, contributes to casemanagement, and provides quality patient care.
• Maintains positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhances and expands client relations with facilities and their staff.

Minimum Qualifications

• A valid state license (where applicable), registration or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant upon graduation from an approved curriculum for Physical Therapist Assistants, and having passed a national examination for Physical Therapist Assistants certified by the CAPTE.
• State license and/or certification must be valid in the state in which the individual will practice.
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Outpatient clinical rotation if current student
• Outpatient experience in the last 3 years if not a student.
