Select Medical’s KORT Louisville outpatient orthopedic center seeks a licensed PTA to provide patient care under a supervising PT. This role focuses on maximizing function and returning patients to athletics, work and life with a strong patient experience.

Responsibilities include delivering high-quality therapy and maintaining relationships with centers, while the benefits package supports training, retirement and health coverage. Located in Louisville, KY, with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
• Outpatient clinical experience within the last 5 years for seasoned clinicians.
• CAPTE certification for PTA and valid state PTA license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Deliver high quality outpatient physical therapy services per policy.

Location: KORT Louisville PT, 4430 Crawford Ave, Louisville, KY 40258

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Compensation: Starting at $23.50/hour and up commensurate with experience

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Outpatient clinical experience in the last 5 years if a seasoned clinician
• Outpatient clinical rotation if a current student
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
