UPMC Home Health is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to support Sarver and the surrounding areas! This position is daylight Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 PM.

The PTA provides high-quality physical therapy services to home health patients under the direction of a Licensed Physical Therapist, in compliance with Pennsylvania licensure laws, agency policies, and regulatory requirements. Responsabilidades

• Implement physical therapy treatments and plans of care as established by the Licensed Physical Therapist
• Perform ongoing patient observations and communicate progress, changes, and referral needs
• Educate patients and families using age-appropriate, culturally sensitive teaching methods
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation demonstrating reasonable and necessary care
• Collaborate with the care team, case managers, and community resources to support patient outcomes
• Adhere to infection control, safety, quality, productivity, and clinical competency standards
• Participate in performance improvement activities, staff meetings, and required education
• Uphold patient rights, confidentiality, and Agency mission, values, and ethics
• Promote positive customer relations and patient satisfaction
