Job summary

Hillcrest Health & Rehab in Bellevue, NE is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house rehabilitation team. You will implement individualized plans of care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, helping patients regain mobility and independence in a warm, supportive setting.

New graduates welcome; experienced PTAs will have opportunities to apply clinical knowledge and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and support

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Active PTA license in Nebraska or compact state.
• BLS/CPR certification required or willingness to obtain within 45 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Carry out individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, function, and independence.
• Educate patients and families using clear communication and adult learning principles.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and charging to support therapy services.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, therapy team members, and other interdisciplinary partners.
• Communicate regularly with the onsite supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient progress and treatment plan needs.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to therapy technicians and support personnel where allowed by regulations.
• Build and manage an efficient patient schedule while considering preferences and safety.
