Job summary

Hillcrest Health Services is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join the in-house rehabilitation team at Hillcrest Millard in Omaha, NE. You will implement plans of care, educate guests and families, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support recovery and independence.

You will contribute to accurate documentation, coordinate with the supervising therapist, and help manage an efficient schedule while prioritizing safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Nebraska or a compact state.
• Basic Life Support CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 45 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Carry out individualized plans of care established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate guests and families using clear communication and adult-learning principles.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and charging.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and therapy team members.
• Manage an efficient schedule and ensure safety and quality of care.
• Identify risks and assist with transitions and coordination of care.
