Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist with procedures delegated by the supervising PT.
• Modify a treatment procedure as patient status changes within the plan.
• Document patient progress notes and maintain accurate records.
• Provide safety and effectively deliver PT procedures under supervision.
• Address age-specific needs for all patients and treat patients and families with respect.
• Assess and document patient pain per department policy and report safety issues.
• Provide technical direction to the Physical Therapy aide and coordinate workload.
