Job summary

Peake Physical Therapy in Jacksonville, MD is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient clinic. You will deliver treatment, coach exercise, and progress patients under PT direction, working with mostly orthopedic and post-op cases.

We offer full-time (36+ hours) or part-time schedules with flexibility, a structured first 90 days, mentorship, and a collaborative PT/PTA team. Benefits include PTO, holidays for full-time staff, health insurance, 401(k) with employer

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program with an active (or pending) Maryland PTA license.
• Strong exercise coaching and cueing skills.
• Warm with patients and easy to work with.
• New grads are welcome.

Peake is a clinician-owned outpatient practice with five locations in the Baltimore area. Our PTAs are movement specialists and patient experience leaders, not an afterthought. We are looking for a PTA to join our Jacksonville clinic.

About the role

• Deliver treatment, coach exercise, and progress patients under PT direction
• Build trust with patients across a mostly orthopedic and post-op caseload
• Communicate clearly with the treating PT about load tolerance, symptom changes, and readiness to progress
• Full-time (36+ hours) or part-time, with scheduling flexibility
• Every new hire is paired with a mentor and gets a structured first 90 days. No sink or swim.

Pay:

$30 to $40 per hour
