Job summary

Peake Physical Therapy in Jacksonville, MD is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient clinic. You will deliver treatment, coach exercise, and progress patients under PT direction, working with mostly orthopedic and post-op cases.

We offer full-time (36+ hours) or part-time schedules with flexibility, a structured first 90 days, mentorship, and a collaborative PT/PTA team. Benefits include PTO, holidays for full-time staff, health insurance, 401(k) with employer

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program with an active (or pending) Maryland PTA license.
• Strong exercise coaching and cueing skills.
• Warm with patients and easy to work with.
• New grads are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Deliver treatment, coach exercise, and progress patients under PT direction.
• Build trust with patients across an orthopedic and post-op caseload.
• Communicate load tolerance, symptom changes, and readiness to progress with the treating PT.
• Full-time (36+ hours) or part-time with scheduling flexibility.
