Physical Therapist Assistant – Float
Location: Oakland and the Waterfront
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday
Compensation: Hourly, starting at $18/Hr and up, commensurate with experience
This position will float between our outpatient centers in the Oakland and Waterfront areas. New graduates are welcome to apply!
Our NovaCare Rehabilitation outpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top‑notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. The highly trained and respected clinical team delivers treatment services designed to maximize functionality and promote optimal outcomes. Responsibilities
- Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by the State Practice Act.
- Implement high‑quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities with minimal supervision, in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and Select Medical policies and procedures.
- Maintain a positive level of interaction with centers and patients, enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process).
- CPR certification.
