Job summary

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Florida.

You will assist licensed Physical Therapists in developing and implementing patient-centered treatment plans for home-based care, helping patients regain movement and reduce pain. You will educate patients and families about at-home exercises, monitor progress, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure compassionate, comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient care, preferably geriatrics, orthopedics, hospital settings, or home care.
• Knowledge of physiology and occupational health practices.
• Familiarity with inpatient therapy procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans
• Work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain
• Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
• Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and care routines
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
