Job summary

The Lakes Home Care Services in Florida is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our patient-centered home care team. You will support Physical Therapists in creating and implementing individualized treatment plans, helping patients regain movement and manage pain in their homes.

Ideal candidates have prior patient-care experience, especially in geriatrics or orthopedics, and hold PTA licensure.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient care, preferably in geriatrics, orthopedics, or hospital/home care settings.
• Knowledge of physiology and occupational health practices.
• Familiarity with inpatient therapy procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans.
• Help patients regain movement and manage pain.
• Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
• Educate patients and families on at-home exercises and care routines.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
