Job summary

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team and support patients in home care settings across Florida.

You will assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain. Ideal candidates have prior patient-care experience (geriatrics, orthopedics, or hospital/home care) and are comfortable educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient care, especially geriatrics, orthopedics, or hospital/home care settings.
• Knowledge of human physiology and health practices.
• Familiarity with inpatient therapy procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans
• Work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain
• Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
• Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and care routines
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
