Mercyhealth Perryville in Rockford, IL is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to evaluate patients, follow treatment plans, and help improve movement and recovery through exercise and manual techniques. The role requires graduation from an accredited PTA program, licensure in WI/IL if required, and CPR/BLS within 90 days.

You will document care, collaborate with teams, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Licensed as a physical therapist assistant in WI, IL or both if required.
• CPR/BLS required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Integrates subjective and objective data to follow an established treatment plan.
• Utilizes exercises, manual techniques, and physical agents to address deficits.
• Maintains a thorough record of services provided with appropriate coding and billing.

• Assists in the orientation, training and mentoring of new partners.
