Job summary

Domnovate is seeking a California-licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for a 9-week W-2 contract in Alturas, CA. You will support rehabilitation plans, guide therapeutic exercises, and communicate progress with the care team.

The schedule runs Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., with 36 hours guaranteed per week. Ideal candidates hold a CA PTA license, PTA program degree, and current BCLS certification, and will join a clinic with 8–9 patients per day and no weekend work.

Qualifications

• Active California physical therapist assistant license.
• Graduate of an APTA-approved physical therapist assistant program.
• Current BCLS certification.

Job description

Total Compensation: $41.79–$44.16/hour*

Give rehabilitation patients time, attention and practical encouragement as they work toward greater independence. Follow the physical therapist’s plan, guide therapeutic exercise and mobility work, and share progress with the wider team. The clinic schedules 8-9 patients a day, with hour-long evaluations, 45-minute follow-up appointments and no double booking. Experience across outpatient, acute or skilled-nursing therapy is welcome.

• 9-week W-2 contract; 2 openings
• Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; no weekends.
• 36 guaranteed hours per week; the hourly-equivalent estimate uses a 40-hour planning week.
• Proposed October 28 start, pending facility confirmation.

What You Bring

• Active California physical therapist assistant license.

Pay and Benefits

Taxable W-2 hourly pay: $25.00–$27.37.
