Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work under a licensed Physical Therapist at the Pampa Regional Medical Center in Pampa, TX. The PTA assists with prescribed treatment plans, supports patient mobility, and tracks progress toward discharge goals.

Qualified candidates hold an A.A. degree and a current PTA license, plus BCLS certification at hire. Training is provided. Full-time, day shifts, with a comprehensive benefits package available to employees.

Qualifications

• A.A. Degree required or preferred.
• Current state PTA license is required to practice.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate required on hire and maintain.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a PT.
• Assist with patient mobility and gait training.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to supervising PT.
• Educate patients on movement techniques and safe use of mobility aids.
• Prepare equipment and maintain clean therapy areas.
