Job summary

Pampa Regional Medical Center LLC is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a per diem position in Pampa, TX. The PTA works under a licensed Physical Therapist to execute treatment plans, assist with mobility, monitor progress, and document outcomes to promote safe discharge.

Entry-level candidates with PTA licensure and BCLS certification are encouraged to apply. Per diem shifts vary, with days available and training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Current PTA license required.
• BCLS (AHA) certificate on hire and maintained.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement Treatment Plans: carry out PT interventions as designed by PT
• Assist with Patient Mobility: help patients with bed mobility and ambulation
• Monitor Patient Responses: observe progress and report to supervising PT
• Educate Patients: teach safe movement techniques and use of mobility aids
• Prepare Equipment: set up therapy areas and ensure equipment is functioning
