Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant
Department: Operations
Reports To: Rehab Director, EDO
Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides treatment to patients to help regain mobility, increase strength, and reduce pain, following established treatment plans and procedures. Performs related clerical and service duties.
Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Education & Certification: An Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program and current state license/registration.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, perform transfers, and repetitive upper extremity movements. May be exposed to unsanitary conditions and high-crime areas.
