Overview

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics

Location: 10099 Seminole Blvd. Ste 5A Seminole, FL 33772

Schedule: MWTh 8am-7pm, T 8am-12pm; F 9am-4pm

Compensation: $25/hr - $29/hr. Starting hourly rate based on experience.

Incentives: $6,000 bonus PLUS indefinite student debt repayment of $200/month

Join Select Physical Therapy's outpatient center, which has an immediate need for a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Join a specialized and experienced team of 2 PTs and 1 PTA treating an outpatient orthopedic population. Center specialties include neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports medicine, POETS, hand therapy, fall prevention, and ACL program. Newly licensed and experienced outpatient PTAs, APPLY! Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
2. Implement, with minimal supervision, high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with physical therapy principles and Select Medical policies.
3. Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients, and enhance client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications:

1. College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
2. Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by CAPTE.
3. Valid state PTA license (or license in process).
4. CPR certification.
