Outpatient Therapist Macomb County Jail Program

Join our team as an Outpatient Therapist at the Macomb County Jail Program. We are offering a $6,000 hiring bonus and an annual salary range of $52,000 to $64,000.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Foster a respectful environment respecting diverse cultures and identities
  • Provide assessments, evaluations, and therapy (individual, family, group)
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of services

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in psychology, social work, or counseling from an accredited institution
  • Full or Limited License in Michigan (e.g., LMSW, LPC, LMFT)
  • Experience in substance use disorder preferred but training available
  • Certification as an Addiction Counselor or eligibility to develop a plan at hire
  • Ability to sit at a desk and lift up to 15 pounds
