Overview

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics

Location: 10099 Seminole Blvd. Ste 5A Seminole, FL 33772

Schedule: MWTh 8am-7pm, T 8am-12pm; F 9am-4pm

Compensation: $25/hr - $29/hr. Starting hourly rate calculated by experience.

Incentives: $6,000 bonus PLUS indefinite student debt repayment of $200/month

Select Physical Therapy's outpatient center has an immediate need for a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Join a specialized and experienced team of 2 PTs and 1 PTA treating an outpatient orthopedic population. Center specialties include neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports medicine, POETS, hand therapy, fall prevention, and ACL program. Newly licensed and experienced outpatient PTAs, APPLY! Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
  2. Implement, with minimal supervision, high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
  3. Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

  1. College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
  2. Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
  3. Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process).
  4. CPR certification.
