Job summary

Cassia seeks a Certified Physical Therapist Assistant to join Pro Rehab’s Minnesota team, between Belview and Clarkfield. This full-time on-site role supports therapists in implementing treatment plans and building a full caseload in a rural setting with a calmer atmosphere.

New grads are welcome; wage is $27-$34 per hour, plus a $2,500 bonus paid over 18 months, plus comprehensive benefits. A MN PTA license and graduation from an accredited PTA program are required.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an Accredited PTA Program and hold at least an Associate’s degree.
• Must possess a current MN PTA License.
• Knowledge of state, federal and local long-term care regulations.
• Able to communicate in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans with adherence to prescribed therapies.
• Monitor patient progress and document changes in condition.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and care plans to promote recovery.
• Apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide effective patient care.

Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position with a flexible start and end time

Wage Range: $27 - $34 / hour depending on experience.

Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, ensuring adherence to prescribed therapies.
• Monitor patient progress and document changes in their condition.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and care plans to promote recovery.
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide effective patient care.

Physical Therapist Assistant Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program and have at a minimum an Associate’s degree.
• Must possess a current MNPhysical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License
• Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
• Strong patient care skills and knowledge of physiology and anatomy
• Proficient in medical terminology and physical therapy techniques
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
