Job summary

Innovate Rehab and Wellness in Missouri is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. You will support physical therapy plans, guide patients through mobility exercises, and help improve strength and function under the supervision of a licensed PT.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Valid state PTA license.
• Rehab/clinical experience preferred (new grads welcome).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead patients through exercises, mobility training, and rehab activities.
• Implement patient-specific treatment plans created by the PT.
• Educate patients on safe techniques and assistive devices.
• Monitor and document patient progress; report changes to the PT.
• Maintain accurate, compliant therapy records.
• Collaborate with the care team for coordinated treatment.
• Uphold ethical, professional standards in all interactions.
