Job summary

Innovate Rehab and Wellness in Sedalia, MO is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing facility. This full-time role offers a supportive, collaborative environment focused on patient-centered care and strong clinical outcomes.

You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, regain strength, and increase function through individualized treatment plans and hands-on care in a SNF setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Valid state PTA license.
• Rehab/clinical experience preferred (new grads welcome).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
• CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Implement patient-specific treatment plans created by the PT.
• Lead patients through exercises, mobility training, and rehab activities.
• Educate patients on safe techniques and assistive devices.
• Monitor and document patient progress; report changes to the PT.
• Maintain accurate, compliant therapy records.
• Collaborate with the care team for coordinated treatment.
• Uphold ethical, professional standards in all interactions
