Job summary

Caring Hand Home Health Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Per diem Physical Therapy Assistant to work in patients' homes across California. You will collaborate with a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients regain mobility and resume daily activities in the comfort of their own homes.

The position offers a per-visit rate of $90–$95 and involves travel to patient homes. A valid California PTA license and CPR certification are required, with opportunities for full-time conversion based on

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Active PTA license from the Physical Therapy Board of California.
• Current CPR certification with AHA.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license, reliable insured vehicle, and willingness to travel to patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on physical therapy under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, following each patient's care plan.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, gait and transfer training, and the use of assistive devices such as wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetics.
• Apply physical modalities including heat, cold, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and massage to relieve pain and restore function.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the Physical Therapist and care team.
• Document care accurately and on time, and participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
• Perform other duties as required for patient services
