Healthcare Recruiters is seeking an onsite PTA: Physical Therapist Assistant for our Sports Rehab client’s 3 Outpatient locations: Santa Ana, Santa Fe Springs, and Gardena, CA. This position can float between these locations.

• Full-time or Part-time options available.
• URGENT HIRE – to start ASAP.

This organization has been thriving since 1996 serving southern CA with 15 facilities. Using the most up-to-date equipment and methods, they provide traditional and aquatic physical therapy and acupuncture treatment.

Under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist, the PTA will: treat patients for various injuries by providing assigned exercises, massage, gait and balance training, as well as other therapeutic interventions.

• Assist physical therapist in any form of treatment/therapy.
• Record patient progress and report results to the physical therapist.
• Assist patients in using supportive devices such as crutches, canes, prostheses, etc.
• Attend to patients during aquatic therapy.

Education and Experience requirements:

• Associates degree in Physical Therapy
• Must pass a state-administered exam or National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) administered by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy.
• At least one year of PT experience (consideration may be given to less).
• Aquatic PT experience is strongly preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to commute between Gardena, Santa Ana, and Santa Fe Springs locations as a float employee.
