Position: PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Pay Range: $37.00/hr - $42.00/hr (based on experience)

About the Role

Mainplace Post Acute in Orange, CA is seeking a dedicated PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. We provide skilled nursing, long-term care, post-acute rehab, and geriatric outpatient therapy services. This role offers opportunities for training and continuing education in areas such as dysphagia, dementia, stroke and neuro rehabilitation, and respiratory/COVID recovery programs.

Schedule & Compensation

Schedule: Flexible, PRN basis for work-life balance

Pay: $37 - $42 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and supportive devices, under supervision.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapist to assess and adjust treatments as needed.
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other providers regarding physical disorders.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapy Assistant license required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing setting preferred; new grads are welcome.
