Job summary

ProSport Physical Therapy & Performance, a member of Therapy Partners Group, has been the premier outpatient orthopedics provider for Orange County and nearby communities since 1992.

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team and support patient recovery.

Responsibilities include assisting the PT with treatment planning, guiding exercises, documenting progress, educating patients, and ensuring a professional, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Outpatient experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the PT.
• Treatment Planning: Assist PT in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: Use Raintree to monitor and document patient progress during sessions and report changes to the PT.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management, and care plans.
• Professional Atmosphere: Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
