Job summary

Smith Therapy Partners is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant in Las Vegas to join a collaborative team. You will assist the physical therapist, implement treatment plans, and help educate patients and families on exercises and pain management.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant, is licensed or eligible for licensure, and enjoys working in a team-oriented outpatient environment.

Qualifications

• PTA must hold an Associate Degree from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a PTA.
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with patients through therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the PT.
• Assist PT in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, exercises, modalities, and patient education.
• Document patient progress during sessions using Raintree and report changes to the PT.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management, and care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
