Job summary

Caring Hand Home Health Solutions, Inc. invites a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant to join our field team in California.

You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver hands-on therapy in patients' homes, promoting mobility and independence and helping clients resume daily activities. This per diem role offers flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities to convert to full-time based on performance.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Active PTA license from the Physical Therapy Board of California.
• Current CPR certification with AHA.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license, reliable insured vehicle, and willingness to travel to patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on physical therapy under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, following each patient's care plan.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, gait and transfer training, and the use of assistive devices such as wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetics.
• Apply physical modalities including heat, cold, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and massage to relieve pain and restore function.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the Physical Therapist and care team.
• Document care accurately and on time, and participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
• Perform other duties as required for patient services

As a Physical Therapist Assistant with Caring Hand Home Health Solutions, you will work alongside a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover, regain mobility, and return to the activities they love — all from the comfort of their homes.

Please note that this role is per diem with a rate of $90 - $95 per visit.
