Job summary

Caring Hand Home Health Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to work with a licensed Physical Therapist to help clients recover mobility in the comfort of their homes.

The role is per diem with a rate of $90 - $95 per visit. The position requires an APTA‑accredited PTA degree, CA PTA license, CPR certification, and willingness to travel to patient homes. Flexible schedule and mileage reimbursement are available.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an APTA-accredited PTA program.
• Active PTA license from California board.
• Current CPR certification (AHA).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on physical therapy under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, gait and transfer training.
• Apply modalities like heat, cold, ultrasound, e-stimulation, and massage.
• Monitor progress and report changes to the PT and care team.
• Document care accurately and participate in team meetings.
• Perform other duties as required for patient services.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant with Caring Hand Home Health Solutions, you will work alongside a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover, regain mobility, and return to the activities they love — all from the comfort of their homes.

Please note that this role is per diem with a rate of $90 - $95 per visit.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on physical therapy under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, following each patient's care plan.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, gait and transfer training, and the use of assistive devices such as wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetics.
• Apply physical modalities including heat, cold, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and massage to relieve pain and restore function.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the Physical Therapist and care team.
• Document care accurately and on time, and participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
• Perform other duties as required for patient services

• Associate's degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Active PTA license from the Physical Therapy Board of California.
• Current CPR certification with AHA.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license, reliable insured vehicle, and willingness to travel to patient homes.
