Join our team as a Physical Therapist Assistant. In this role, you will:

1. Provide care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic and other physically-related disorders requiring strengthening, modalities, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education and training in activities of daily living under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
2. Utilize the rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of the patient.
3. Participate in professional responsibilities, including documentation, program development, teaching, and enhancement of clinical skills.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will need the following:

1. Associates Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
2. Current Colorado Physical Therapist Assistant licensure
3. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association
4. Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient or rehab units (preferred)
5. Ability to perform basic treatments of orthopedic, neurological and medical patients
6. Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR) (preferred)

Physical Requirements

Medium Work - exerting up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.

This is a part-time benefited PTA role covering outpatient orthopedic needs, with shift options including 3 (8-hour) or 2 (10-hour) shifts, plus one shorter shift (4 hours) on both options.
