Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team in Pittsburgh. The role includes patient care under a PT, with a focus on restoring function for patients of all ages.

The position offers full-time hours with a schedule including 2-3 evenings each week, and the role will float between North Hills and Bellevue clinics, about 15 minutes apart.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Passed CAPTE national examination for PTAs.
• Valid state PTA license or license in process.
• CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services with minimal supervision.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers, patients, and staff.

Job description

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant

Location: 5700 Corporate Drive, Suite 150, Pittsburgh, PA 15237 and 660 Lincoln Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15202

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday (2-3 Evenings until 7 pm)

Compensation: Hourly, $28.00 - $32.00/hr, commensurate with experience

This position will float between our North Hills and Bellevue clinics located just 15 minutes apart.

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.

• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
