Aspen Health and Wellness in Overland Park, KS is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house rehab program. You will work under a Physical Therapist to deliver rehabilitative treatment to our geriatric and post-acute patients.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active PTA license in Kansas.
• Open to PTAs at all experience levels.
• Prior post-acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative treatment under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Apply evidence-based interventions for patients with mobility and function disorders.
• Assist with ambulation, exercises, modalities, and device use as directed.
• Collaborate with supervising PT to adjust treatments per regulations.
• Offer guidance to patients and families on care plans.

Aspen Health and Wellness in Overland Park, KS is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and supportive device use, under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to assess and adjust treatments according to regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
