Select Medical is hiring a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant for outpatient orthopedics in the Orlando area. You will work under a licensed physical therapist to provide quality care to a diverse patient population and support clinic operations.

Eligible candidates must graduate from an accredited PTA program, have passed CAPTE, hold a PTA license (or in process), and possess CPR certification. This outpatient center offers comprehensive benefits and a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Must have passed the CAPTE PTA exam.
• Must hold a valid PTA license in the state or be in process.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Deliver high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with policy and procedures.
• Maintain positive interaction with centers and patients, and support and expand client relations with staff.

Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE

Overview

Position:Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics

Location: Lake Buena Vista (Orlando), FL, 32836

Schedule: Full Time. Center Hours Mon - Sat.

Compensation: Starting at $28+/hr. Starting rate calculated by experience.

Incentive: $12,000 bonus plus indefinite student debt repayment option of $200/month

Select Physical Therapy's outpatient center is now hiring a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Join our clinical team of 8 treating an outpatient orthopedic population. We treat a variety of orthopedic patients from all ages, diagnoses and insurances. Newly licensed PTAs and experienced outpatient PTA's.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process)
