Job summary

Select Medical in Plant City & Lakeland, FL seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for outpatient geriatrics and orthopedics. This PRN role offers weekday coverage with compensation ranging from $30/hr to $35/hr, based on experience. You’ll work under a licensed PT to deliver quality care and support several centers while maintaining strong patient relations.

New grads are welcome to apply. CPR certification is required, and licensure in Florida or in process is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Passed the CAPTE national examination for PTA.
• Valid Florida PTA license or license in process.
• CPR certification (required)

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in line with Select Medical policies.

Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient PRN

Location: Plant City & Lakeland, FL

Schedule: PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri)

Compensation: $30/hr - $35/hr. Rate calculated by experience

We are seeking PRN Physical Therapist Assistants to join our outpatient orthopedic team. This role is perfect for a licensed PTA with outpatient experience who values work-life balance. We’ll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you. New grads and licensed outpatient PTA,

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
