Select Physical Therapy in North Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our brand-new outpatient orthopedic center. Schedule is Monday–Friday with starting pay of $27+/hour based on experience, plus a $12,000 sign-on bonus and $200/month student loan repayment.

We welcome new graduates and experienced PTAs to be part of a growing team offering programs in Vestibular Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine, Hand Therapy, and more.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited PTA program.
• Passed CAPTE PTA exam.
• Valid state PTA license or license in process.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist as required by state law.
• Deliver high quality physical therapy services with minimal supervision.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers, patients, and staff to support care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
