Select Physical Therapy in North Fort Myers, FL seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant for outpatient care. This full-time/PRN position offers the chance to work with a broad orthopedic patient population and collaborate with a licensed PT to deliver high-quality care in center hours from 7 a.m.

to 7 p.m. The successful candidate will be a graduate of an accredited PTA program, CAPTE certified and licensed (or in progress), with CPR certification, and a commitment to patient-focused rehabilitation

Qualifications

• Under supervision of a licensed PT, provide high-quality outpatient PT services.
• Adhere to physical therapy policies and procedures.
• Maintain professional interaction with centers, patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high-quality PT services for outpatient patients.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients and support center relationships.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Hold CAPTE certification as a PTA (or be in process).
• Maintain valid PTA license in the state (or license in process).
• Maintain CPR certification.

Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient (Full Time)
North Ft. Myers, FL
Schedule: PRN Monday-Friday | Center Hours: 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
Compensation: $35/hr
Select Physical Therapy is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient team in N. Fort Myers, FL. This role offers the opportunity to work with a broad orthopedic population, including neuro, fall prevention and ACL.

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
• College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process)
• CPR Certification
