Rancho Physical Therapy is currently looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team!

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the registered Physical Therapist, provides therapy assistance for assigned patients and accomplishes other related activities within the physical therapy office. May, in accordance with State laws, assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, document the progress of treatment, and modify specific treatments in accordance with patient status and within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain a current understanding of the Company’s business and policies.
• Estimate, categorize and evaluate information and data.
• Provide timely written documentation per facility and department requirements.
• Develop and enhance clinical and professional skills through knowledge and professional associations.
• Communicate with patients, families, and other clinical staff regarding treatment variations.
• Provide timely written documentation as required by insurance providers to meet licensing, certification, regulatory, reimbursement requirements, and physician treatment plans.
• Apply the latest research related to restoring function, reducing symptoms frequency, and preventing injury.
• Hands-on experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training, and physical modalities.
• Work various locations as assigned and needed.

Education and Experience

• License to practice or relevant certification.
• Associate or BS degree in PTA.
• Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant curriculum.
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• CPR certification.
