Job summary

Elk Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Colorado seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide direct physical therapy interventions as planned, delegated, and supervised by the Physical Therapist. You will also record treatments and note progress in medical records to ensure the highest quality of care for our residents.

You are expected to uphold the facility's mission, demonstrate dignity and respect, and collaborate with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Assistant Program.
• Successful completion of certificate/state licensure process for Physical or Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Current PTA/OTA licensure or registration is required.

Position Summary

The primary responsibility of the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is to provide direct physical therapy interventions as planned, delegated, and supervised by the Physical Therapist. The person in this role will also record treatments given and note progress in medical records. In this role, you are entrusted to ensure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times.
