Responsibilities

• Conduct screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans in line with regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Perform regular standing, walking, occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment – physical demands vary based on patient needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

McKinney Health & Rehabilitation in McKinney, TX is a post‑acute care facility providing long‑term care, short‑term care, and geriatric services. We offer a stable in‑house therapy team and excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele on their journey to recovery.

Key Responsibilities
