Post RGV is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant for its outpatient rehab program in McAllen, TX. The team focuses on geriatric and post-acute care with a supportive in-house environment and a strong values-driven culture.

Licensed PTAs collaborate with a supervising Physical Therapist to deliver evidence-based interventions, participate in plan adjustments, and provide patient and family education. New grads are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and device use under supervision.
• Collaborate with supervising PT to assess and adjust treatments per regulatory and clinical requirements.
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, and other providers regarding physical disorders.

Post RGV in McAllen, TX, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant for our outpatient rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and supportive device use, under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to assess and adjust treatments according to regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.

Qualifications

Physical Therapist Assistant license is required
