Job summary

The Healthcare Resort of Plano is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant to support our in-house rehab program under a Physical Therapist's supervision. This post-acute care facility offers a stable team and comprehensive geriatric services in Plano, TX.

The successful candidate will apply evidence-based interventions, assist with rehabilitative treatments, and collaborate with the supervising PT to adapt care plans for our patients’ recovery and functional goals.

Qualifications

• PTA license required

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and devices under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to assess and adjust treatments per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.

The Healthcare Resort of Plano, TX, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and supportive device use, under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to assess and adjust treatments according to regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.

Qualifications:

Physical Therapist Assistant license is required
