Post RGV in McAllen, TX, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for our outpatient rehab program. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule and a supportive in-house therapy team focused on geriatric care.

As a PTA, you will deliver rehabilitative treatments under a Physical Therapist's supervision, apply evidence-based practices, and collaborate to adapt plans based on patient progress. New grads are welcome to apply.

Post RGV in McAllen, TX, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking aFull TimePhysical Therapist Assistantfor our outpatient rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.


• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under Physical Therapist supervision.


• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and supportive device use, under Physical Therapist supervision.


• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to assess and adjust treatments according to regulatory and clinical practice requirements.


• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.

Qualifications:

• Physical Therapist Assistant license is required
