Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will assist in providing treatments that help patients improve mobility, regain strength, and enhance overall function.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation techniques.
• Educate patients on proper techniques and assistive device usage.
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to the Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate and compliant records of therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Uphold ethical and professional standards in all interactions and treatment sessions.

Qualifications :

• Education : Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant
• Licensure : Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Missouri.
• Experience : Prior experience in rehabilitation or clinical settings preferred.
• Skills : Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
• Certifications : CPR certification (preferred).
• Full-time or PRN (as-needed) role available.
• Work settings may include hospitals, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, or home health environments.
• Requires adaptability and a team-oriented mindset.
