Job summary

Career Links is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team in Kansas. You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans and support patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, neurological conditions, and sports-related injuries.

  • Adhere to all state, federal, and facility regulations and policies.

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, neurological conditions, sports-related injuries, and other physical impairments while helping them achieve their functional goals.



Position Overview

The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans and provide high-quality patient care. The PTA will assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and overall functional independence in an outpatient clinical setting.

Qualifications


  • Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting.

  • Current Kansas Physical Therapist Assistant Certification/License issued by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts.

  • Eligible to practice as a PTA in Kansas and work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist as required by state law.

  • Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to start.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.

  • Previous outpatient, orthopedic, sports medicine, or rehabilitation experience preferred but not required.

  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.
