Career Links is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team in Kansas. You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans and support patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, neurological conditions, and sports-related injuries.

• Experience in outpatient/rehabilitation settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy treatments and interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, transfer training, and functional mobility programs.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate treatment responses to the Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and wellness strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and patient progress.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Assist with clinic operations and maintain a safe treatment environment.
• Adhere to all state, federal, and facility regulations and policies.
