Job summary

Point Quest is seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant in Fort Worth, TX to provide school-based therapy for K-12 students. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to improve students’ access to education, working closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

You will implement therapy per IEP goals, document progress, and coordinate with the supervising Physical Therapist to ensure alignment with therapeutic objectives.

Qualifications

  • Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in Texas.
  • US work authorization.
  • Background check required.
  • Lifts up to 50 lbs and can work in a classroom setting.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver therapy per Individual Education Plans (IEP) for students aged preK–12.

Provide therapy to children aged preK-12 with various medical diagnoses, including orthopedic impairments and developmental disorders.Consultation & Instruction: Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate therapy into classroom-based activities. Partner with a Physical Therapist to discuss and refine treatment plans, ensuring supervision and alignment with therapeutic goals.
