Overview

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics

Location: 3210 Cleveland Avenue, Fort Myers, Florida 33901

Schedule: Full Time, Mon - Fri, with evening hours until 7 pm

Compensation: Starting at $27+/hr, salary based on experience

Incentives: $12,000 sign-on bonus! Indefinite student debt benefit program of $200/month

Select Physical Therapy's outpatient center in Fort Myers, FL, is hiring a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Why work in Fort Myers? Join our clinical team at our newly acquired center, treating a general orthopedic caseload, including non-surgical and post-operative patients. We utilize evidence-based treatment and manual therapy techniques to develop individualized treatment plans that help each patient achieve their goals. We welcome all licensed Physical Therapist Assistants, including new graduates and experienced PTAs. Mentorship is available for new grads! Let's foster your growth!

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, as mandated by the State Practice Act.
• Implement high-quality physical therapy services with minimal supervision, adhering to principles and practices of physical therapy and company policies.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients, and work to expand client relations with centers and staff.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Passed the national examination for PTAs certified by CAPTE
• Valid State PTA License (or in process)
• CPR Certification
